We offer a range of surgical procedures performed by our trained veterinary team using modern equipment and established safety protocols:

What to Expect
We believe clear expectations help reduce stress for both pets and their people. From the first exam through pickup, our team focuses on communication and comfort.
Before Surgery
Every surgical case begins with a thorough evaluation to ensure your pet is a good candidate for anesthesia and surgery:
- A comprehensive physical examination
- Review of medical history and any recommended diagnostic testing
- A detailed treatment plan and written estimate provided in advance
- Presurgical paperwork and online forms sent ahead of your scheduled date
Our veterinary team is also always available to answer questions before surgery day.
On the morning of surgery, we aim to keep the process calm and efficient:
- Drop-off between 8:00 and 8:30 AM
- No food after midnight the night before surgery; water is allowed
- A veterinary nurse will review paperwork and confirm details with you
- We ask that you remain available by phone throughout the day in case we need to provide updates or ask questions
Your pet is closely monitored throughout their procedure by our trained surgical and nursing team.
Depending on the type of surgery, we may contact you during the day if there are updates to share or decisions to discuss. Your availability by phone helps us move forward promptly and safely.
Once your pet is out of surgery and beginning to recover, communication continues with:
- A text message with a photo of your pet, typically within one-to-two hours after surgery
- Ongoing monitoring as your pet wakes up comfortably
- A phone call from the doctor once your pet is more awake to review how the procedure went and discuss next steps
All surgical patients go home the same day. Our veterinary staff will help ensure you and your pet are all set for recovery. We:
- Set a pickup time that works for you
- Review medications, aftercare instructions, and activity restrictions
- Answer any remaining questions
All pets are discharged before our clinic closes at 6:00 PM.
